LR Evoque

Postby ahoi » 29 May 2015, 02:34

Greetings
My question is about the MY16 Evoque (should essentially have the same relevant specs as the MY15);

If I install this interface
http://car-solutions.com/en/video-inter ... th-pas.php

will I be able to use the genuine functions (navi, front/rear camera, audio/phone interface etc)?
My intention is to add an additional device, but not loose any of the genuine functions.

Will it be possible to use a mhl/hdmi converter as the additional input?

Thanks & regards

All OEM functions will remain.

Will it be possible to use a mhl/hdmi converter as the additional input?

Hdmi sub-board is optional, please contact sales department for more details.

I guess the HDMI board will be connected to the interface via RGB?
Is it possible to hook the capative touch screen either on the OEM board, the HDMI board or the video interface with this device? if so which one would be the advised output device?
At this point i only plan to attach the HDMI device to the video interface

It requires a 4pin input

Thanks

Hi.

Here is the manual http://car-solutions.com/nfs/product/855341/file/Land_Rover_2014_interface_manual.pdf

I guess the HDMI board will be connected to the interface via RGB? -

Yes

Is it possible to hook the capative touch screen either on the OEM board, the HDMI board or the video interface with this device?

The box already has touch output UART TX, RX.

At this point i only plan to attach the HDMI device to the video interface

It requires a 4pin input

Capative touch screen cannot have 4 pin or it is necessary to use some kind of controller which will convert touch from UART to 4-pin.
