Range Rover GVIF and MirrorLink Car Adaptor

I have the GVIF and MirrorLink installed in my 2007 LR range rover sport. I can screencast and have a picture. There isn't any sound. Do I have to connect the GVIF audio output to the AUX port in the car console?

Connect the audio out from MirrorLink adapter directly to the aux input of the car or via video interface.
