GVIF GFO8-v7 Interface - VGA to RGB Input

Postby dani » 22 Oct 2012, 08:00

I would like to use the Analog RGBC input (marked as for navigation system) to connect the VGA output of my laptop into the GVIF interface. The RGB cable only has 5 wires, what would the cable assignment be for this connection?

Hello,
1. You need to convert VGA separate sync signal (HSync, VSync) in mixed CSync.

For this you need to compile the following schematic:

2. In the video interface settings (Factory mode) enable RGB devices with a resolution of 800x480.

3. Configure the appropriate mode in "PowerStrip" to implement the image output from CarPC to OEM display.
