Clock reset

Hi,

Right know I plugged in power supply in standard manner. So red wire is connected to ignition switch.
In result system clock settings resets every time I turn off the car.

Is there a way to hook up the power so it would only suspend the system or not volatile clock memory?
In standard car stereo there are two wires: one for battery connection (called memory) and one for turning on the unit (ACC).

Kind regards
Bartek

Hello!
You can synchronize time via GPS, however this function is in the testing mode. Go to the autorun, GPS tab, check and choose COM1 port, rate 9600.

Best regards,

Thank you.
This solves the problem of time synchronization.
I have in my CS9100 one additional issue. During startup I got fatal error. Print screen is in attachment. If I will not tap the ok button then the GPS is not working. Do you have never version of Starter application?

Hello!
Change COM1 for COM6 in the settings and try to adjust other settings.

I have COM2 chosen for GPS and this is valid port. If I change for any other number, I cannot establish communication with GPS module.
Nevertheless for every port setting I have such fatal error at the beginning. After tapping ok button everything come back to normal.
What Starter application do, beside starting the menu and navigation software?

Starter utility is in ccharge for the autorun, but it remained in the testing stage. Unfortunately, there are no new versions.
