Cs9320 on Subaru Outback 2004 (Kenwood)

Postby Ael » 28 Feb 2017, 01:32

Hello. Just installed CS9320 on my Subaru Outback 2004. Everything looks fine for now but I have a few questions:

1. The device came with Android 4.1.1. What is the latest version ? Is there 4.3 ? Can I have the latest firmware and software version for this device ?
2. Can I have bootanimation.zip file ?
3. I need 3G USB modem but you guys dont have it in stock for now. Can I use other type of 3G USB modem or it will not be compatible ?

Hello.
1. There are 2 firmwares for this box:
4.1.1 : https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/834 ... update.zip
4.3 : https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/834 ... update.zip
MCU update for Android 4.3 FW : https://www.odrive.com/s/459496e8-0fcb- ... 6-58b7e541

2. We don't have bootanimation.zip file .
3. Only Simcom5320 modem work with this navigation box.

Hello again. So far everything works great ! Although the time and date does not update automatically. I have to be connected to Internet to get the right time and date. Is it possible to get updates from GPS system ? Do I need an app for that ? Thanks.

Ok, then mine doesn't! It has to be connected to Internet through wireless network to update the time and date. Otherwise the time stays at the same point when the car was last driven. What should I do?

Check your GPS antenna, it seems it has been damaged . Run GPS test https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... ss.gpstest and tell me about the result.

Please try the following:
Uncheck "automatic time zone" in the Settings-Time and date and set your time zone. Reboot the box. Inform me about the result.

It does not work. Still if I'm disconnected with Internet the time stays at the last state when I shutdown the device.

Try updating OS https://www.odrive.com/s/4934b037-4fc2- ... d-58e730f7 and MCU https://www.odrive.com/s/459496e8-0fcb- ... 6-58b7e541 .

Note! Settings and apps will be restored to default.

Just did it, 2 days ago I had problems with boot looping and I wrote to the support and they said that I have to update the software. So I did it and it fix the bootlooping but this remains the same. Maybe I can try with android 4.1 not 4.3?

Since we haven't faced with issue before, please do the following:
GPS antenna should be connected;
Don't connect to the internet via modem and wifi;
Reset to default;
Set Time zone;
Provide a short video of the problem.
