CS9100 with Alpine Monitor (Touch Screen)

Postby por8051 » 02 Jun 2012, 10:18

The Monitor model is M7T that Alpine OEM for Mitsubishi Pajero Sport. I ordered CS9100 together with Alpine Cable from your site. My monitor M7T has NAVI pinout as showing in below picture

Image

I already check by Ohm-Meter. The Monitor PCB (I opened the box) labeling pins description. Once I connected the Alpine Cable and power on the CS9100, the Monitor showing menu in bad displaying maybe display format regarding your spec sending NTSC format.

My questions are;

1) I think my M7T monitor is PAL format so, will it work with your CS9100? If not, have any idea or can CS9100 configure to send video in PAL format?
2) Touch panel does not work. There is no response while touching any menu on the M7T monitor. How can I fix?

I already config the interface to "Alpine" . I tested by connect the CS9100 to my LCD TV, insert USB mouse and configure/settings there.

Please help.

Thanks in advance,
Sakarin

http://car-solutions.com/content_file/p ... 3_0_EN.pdf

But Data cable pinout is mismatch...

M7T Pin11 (Rx) <---> CS9100 Data Pin 3 (Tx)
M7T Pin7 (Tx) <---> CS9100 Data Pin 4 (Rx)

Please advise

Dear Sakarin!
Availability of the same connectors and similar pinout does not mean that CS9100 will work with M7T monitor.

Touch screen does not work, most likely, due to differences in control protocols, i.e. Alpine units have different protocol than NVE-N077P.
CS9100 has NTSC image, it’s meant in the product description. It is impossible to change the format.

Bad news!!!

You say that I have to change to new Monitor, right? If I want to use your CS9100.
Do you have a recommended Monitor with work best with your CS9100?
Just only 7"Monitor with touch screen. Any brand is fine to me.

Thank you!

Here you can find the list of all supported Alpine devices. TME-S370 monitor has not been tested for compatibility yet.

In the next post our sales manager will help you to find the solution.

Dear Sakarin,

Here is the link to the 8-inch touch screen monitor, that will be compatible with CS9100 http://car-solutions.com/en/8-Car-Touch ... onitor.php
