CAN doesn't work for E61 LCI 07/2009

Postby Bob » 15 Oct 2015, 13:54

Hello,

i bought this Interface from your site "Product code: 850839". The REAR CAM doesn't work when putting REAR TYPE to CAN. I tried all CAR MODEL (F10 E90 2014 and E90).

By the way the guidlines works only with CAR MODEL (E90).

Please tell me what to do, because the CAM from your site "Product code: 819016" doesn't work when connected to the power of rear lamp, because when Motor starting the rear lamp power is only 11 Volt.

In the Manuals on site 23, they are talking about CAMERA TYPE, but in my Interface there isn't a menue for this.

I hope you can help me with These Problems.

Hello.
By the way the guidlines works only with CAR MODEL (E90).

If PAS works then rear view camera activation should work also.

Please tell me what to do, because the CAM from your site "Product code: 819016" doesn't work when connected to the power of rear lamp, because when Motor starting the rear lamp power is only 11 Volt.

There is a socket marked "REAR" on the interface. You may use it to power up rear view camera or connect power according to this connection diagram - https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/712 ... _OK_wm.png (grey wire is not needed to be connected in case of CAN connection).

In the Manuals on site 23, they are talking about CAMERA TYPE, but in my Interface there isn't a menue for this.

There's no such function implemented in these interfaces yet.

Hello,
I've had similar problem, the socket that plugs into the backside of the monitor wasn't all the way in. We pushed it a bit harder and the picture was ok. Good luck!

Hello.
First of all try plugging in fully the connector which goes to the monitor suggested by milkancho.
Also, you may try resetting settings of the interface to default. To do this press and hold button "right" on the remote control for 5-6 seconds.
If the problem is still present then please describe how you powered an interface and additional devices up. Clear photos will be extremely helpful.

Here is the rearcam on, the Picture is too noisy

This is the normal menu of my car. normally there isn't any Problem. Some time like at this Picture, the Colors are distorted

Of Course i am doing the Suggestion of milkancho, but no improvement. Maybe the Interface is faulty? Please tell me what you think about that. If the Interface is faulty, how to Exchange.

Have you tried plugging in fully the round connector - http://car-solutions.com/nfs/product/85 ... nes-11.jpg ?
Also:
try resetting settings of the interface to default. To do this press and hold button "right" on the remote control for 5-6 seconds;
try DIP switches #5 and #8 in different positions(put toggle in another position only when the inteface is powered off);

Yes i did, but no changes. It's still the same result.

try DIP switches #5 and #8 in different positions

If switching #5 in other position i only get a black display, when switching to rearcam or AV1, AV2 or AV3. if switching #8 in other position no changes.

I am now sure that the interface is faulty. So please send me a new one.
