CS9100 for Toyota Touch&Go

Postby lzolka » 29 Jan 2014, 20:07

I installed successfully CS9100 Touch&Go set (Car Solution Edition) for several nav units (59026 Verso, 19006 Yaris).
On these units there is a MAP/nav button, the installed navigation is activated by double push of the Power button.
Now I tried to install the same set for Prius 57037 unit with JBL, it also has MAP/nav button.
Unfortunately the Power button doesn't activate the external unit screen.
How to fix it?

The next work will be a 2013 Rav4 with 53888 T&Go unit, but on this unit there is only a NAV button, not MAP/nav.
Will this set work with this unit?

Hello.
Look on the reverse side of Universal Touch Adapter, there is a sticker with the firmware version and description of the witches. For RAV4 set the position ON (down) - the OEM NAV button will be activated. For Prius try it in both positions.

Please, tell us the firmware version.

OK, Prius now works, DIP2 ON, MAP/nav button activate CS9100.
Not problem but interest that with this unit DIP1 is not affect, when car starting, CS screen come up, independent from ON or OFF state.

Thanks.

toggle #1 - Autostart (ON-Activated; OFF-deactivated)
toggle #2 - Type of head unit(ON-GT86,RAV4 maybe some others(Nav button and other functions works as it should); OFF-Yaris,Venza some others)
toggle #5 - Protocol type(ON-Kenwood; OFF-Garmin GVN53)

Not problem but interest that with this unit DIP1 is not affect, when car starting, CS screen come up, independent from ON or OFF state.

Turn the power off, set the DIP1 in OFF position and apply power. Does our box still start?

With Prius unit always start with CS screen, in toggle #1 ON or OFF state both, after power off also.
With other units this autostart enable/disable works correctly by toggle #1.
This is a minor problem, the most important that the activation works by MAP/nav button.

Thanks for answers

Disable navigation autostart form the HU settings. Navi/MAP button serves for switching only in the cars like RAV4,GT86 and some others.

Actually, I bought a Toyota car weeks ago, and I definitely love it! With a site I came across, I was able to determine what the very best deal was on my new Toyota before I went to buy it. Surely, I will also install Touch&Go set for my new vehicle. Thank heaven I read this thread! :)
